Our AI Methodology

InsideView employs a proprietary AI methodology called “MTV” to gather, analyze, and validate data.


InsideView gathers data from multiple sources — more than 40,000 editorial, news, financial, and social sources — including world-class vendors such as S&P Global Market Intelligence, Equifax, and Refinitiv (formerly Thomson-Reuters). Of equal importance, we employ multiple data creation and gathering methodologies. Why is this important? Each methodology has strengths and weaknesses. By using a variety, we take advantage of the strengths of each, while mitigating their weaknesses.


Triangulation is the heart of InsideView’s technology. It takes advantage of machine learning, text analysis, and proprietary artificial intelligence to validate and make sense of disparate and conflicting information. The essential premise is that consensus among multiple sources is the best indicator of truth. We pull data from thousands of sources, not simply to amass large volumes of data, but to triangulate each point against multiple sources to determine its validity and usefulness.
